Ransacked the refridge & freezer today!
Put water on to boil to cover: 3-4 cups frozen field peas and snaps, 1/2 large bag of collards. Add 1 onion chunked, 1 jalapeno pepper-seeded & diced, 3 carrots scrubbed. Turn to low and cover after it reaches a boil and cook for 15 min. Add 3-4 broccoli stems-stripped of tough skin-julienned and a bag of 10 min. Boil in Bag Brown Rice (dumped out of the bag into pot) with about 3 Tbs Butler Chik-Style seasoning. Cooked 10 more min. In my case I just turned off the heat (I have a glass top stove) and let it sit.
Serve with vinegar, lemon juice, or Texas Pete.
